Electronic Visa
The general steps for obtaining an electronic visa are as follows:
- Complete our online visa application form (to be released soon) and provide us a scanned copy of your passport, a recent photo, and a brief CV.
- We submit your application to the Foreign Ministry in Tehran to obtain a Visa Authorization Code.
- Upon arrival at IKA Airport, present your Visa Authorization Code to receive your visa on arrival.
Note: Iran does not affix visas to passports, nor stamp them upon entry.
Visa in Advance
Citizens of Group 2 (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Canada, Colombia, Jordan, Pakistan, Somalia, the United Kingdom, and the United States) can obtain a visa in advance by first completing our online application form to receive a pre-authorized visa grant notice, and then presenting this notice along with all other required documents at an Iranian embassy to receive their visa in advance.
